ARLENE HELEN REYNOLDS WALTERS

Arlene (Babe) Helen Reynolds Walters, age 80, passed away Oct. 6, 2018. Born April 18, 1938 in Ravenna, Ohio to Denver and Helen Reynolds. She married Jerry Robert Walters on Aug. 9, 1958, and just celebrated their 60th anniversary. Moved to Alpena, Mich., with family when four years old. Worked with parent at Alpena Sporting Goods when growing up and then at Alpena Sewing Center. She was troop leader with Girl Scouts for one year, and a Den Mother and Den Leader Trainer for Cub Scouts for many years. Arlene was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Alpena, then Celebration Lutheran Church in Mt. Juliet, Tenn., and presently Historic Franklin Presbyterian Church in Franklin, Tenn. Survived by husband Jerry Walters of Franklin, Tenn; brother, Bill (Vicky) Reynolds of Alpena, Mich., and sister Darlene (Frank) Woodward of Alpena, Mich.; three children Daniel (Denise) Walters of San Leandro, Calf., Connie (Mark) McDaniel of Bedford, Ind., and James (Susan) Walters of York, Pa.; grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
