MICHAEL NORBERT MORRIS

Michael was born in Goodrich, Mich., on Feb. 20, 1941 to the late Theodore and Charlotte (Poli) Morris. He served in the United States Marine Corps until his honorable discharge and married Diana Adams on May 13, 1961. Mike retired from Huron Portland Cement Company in 1986 and was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church. Mike enjoyed playing baseball, hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Diana; five children, Brian and Shawna Morris, Angela and Michael Freeman, Katrina and Michael Wallace, Michael Morris; Patricia Freeman; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Carlene and Don Bischoff; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Mr. Morris was preceded in death by grandsons, Joshua and Brian Morris; two brothers, Jerome Morris, James Morris; two sisters, Charlotte Holsworth, Colleen Bauer.

Memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018 at St. Catherine Catholic Church from 11 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon with Rev. Robert Bissot officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
