Terrance Harvey Bebee was born in Jackson on Jan. 23, 1931, to the late Autho and Thelma (Higgins) Bebee. Barbara Joyce Forbear was born in Howell on April 23, 1932, to the late Elmer and May (Horwood) Forbear. They married on Feb. 4, 1950. Terry served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War. Together they returned to Michigan, Terry working as a tax auditor for the State of Michigan retiring in 1985, while Barb worked out of her house running BB’s Cake and Candy Supply, which later turned into BB’s Kennel, boarding dogs for many years. Together their love of dogs led them to breeding and raising hundreds of puppies for Leader Dog of Michigan. They where one of three breeders in the State of Michigan. Their high placement rate for their dogs with the blind all over the world was their proudest achievement. Together, they where active members of both the Alpena Lions Club and the Lioness Club, Terry serving in many capacities both local and throughout the state, including District Governor of 11-E2, both receiving the Melvin Jones Award.

They are survived by their two children, Linda and Robert Doyle, Timothy and Lori Bebee; four grandchildren, Cori Grabow, April (Mark) Hecht, Megan Bebee, Rachael Bebee and great-grandson Luke Hecht.

They were preceded in death by Barb’s sister, Joan Earl.
