JEANNETTE MARIE RASMUSSEN

Jeannette was born on Feb. 18, 1965, in Pellston to the late Karen A. Worth and Lawrence N. Leduc. In 1972, her parents moved to Alpena. Jeannette graduated from Alpena High School in 1983. In 2011, she graduated from the Professional Veterinary Assistant Program through Ashworth College. Jeanette was a member of the Alpena Jaycees for several years. She was also an avid pool player and belonged to the Alpena Women’s Pool League for many years.

Surviving are her son, Daniel (Cassie) Rasmussen; three sisters, Lorie (Mickie) Leduc-Grady, Margie Krueger, Christy Leduc; one brother, Lawrence Leduc, II; four nephews, Robert Leduc, Lance Leduc, Miles Leduc, Steven (Stephanie) Krueger; two nieces, Betsy (Allan) Straley, Trista (Robert Coleman) Krueger; one great-niece; five great-nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her mother, Karen A. Worth; her father, Lawrence N. Leduc; paternal grandparents, Edward and Marjorie Leduc; and maternal grandparents, Robert and Marlene Cook.

Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, Dec. 2, at McRae Park from 1 p.m. until time of the memorial service at 3 p.m. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
