DENNIS SCOTT GARRISON

Dennis was born Dec.18, 1950, in Grand Rapids to the late Bobby and Beverly (Fisher) Garrison. On Nov. 1, 1975, he married Wendy Sue Hubert. Dennis owned and operated Rye Agency in Rogers City for over the past 25 years. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. Dennis loved spending time with his grandchildren and will be remembered for his jokes and teasing. He also enjoyed exploring the back roads of Michigan and was a member of Masonic Lodge #516 F. & A.M. in Atlanta.

Surviving are his wife, Wendy Sue; two children, Jason (Heidi) Garrison, Janine (Clayton) Bahrke; four grandchildren, Grace, Elsie, Paul, Ivan “Gus”; two sisters, Debbie (Harley James) Hubbard, Denise (Steve) McDonald; brother, Dana (Sandy) Garrison; brother-in-law, Art Clark; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Garrison was preceded in death by his sister, Darlene “Mort” Clark; brother-in-law, Milton Hubbard, Jr.; and best friend, Bond Schnoor.

Visitation will take place on Monday at the Bannan Funeral Home – Hillman from 2-8 p.m. with Masonic services at 6 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Tuesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. with Rev. Michael Conner officiating.
