VFW Posen Post hosts breakfast

POSEN — The VFW Posen Post 7804 will host a breakfast on Sunday at 8 a.m. until noon. The cost for an adult is $10, $5 for children 5 to 12 years old and children under the age of five are free. The facility is handicap accessible and pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns, ham, eggs to order and desserts on the menu.

The Michigan Alzheimer's Disease Research Center and Region 9 Area Agency on Aging, with support from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services through the ACCESS-ADRD Grant, will host a free community event, "The Aging Brain: What's Normal vs. a Warning Sign?" on Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Alpena Public Library.
