Shooting leaves 4 hurt in Detroit amid rising violence
DETROIT (AP) — Four people have been wounded during a drive-by shooting on Detroit’s east side.
The three men and one woman were outside about 10:40 p.m. Wednesday when the shots were fired from a passing vehicle, police said.
Two of the victims were listed Thursday in critical condition at a hospital. The other two were in stable condition. No arrests have been made.
Violence is up in Detroit and more than 500 guns were seized in a recent four-week period, according to police Chief James Craig.
