According to a City of Alpena press release, on Monday, Bolen Asphalt Paving will begin resurfacing Long Rapids Road from Bagley Street to MediLodge near Arbor Lane. During the resurfacing, west-bound traffic will be redirected since the center left turn lane will be used as a travel lane.

The press release states that signage and barricades will guide traffic through the construction site, but motorists are advised to seek alternate routes. This project is expected to last three weeks unless delays occur.
