The Alpena Gymnastics AAU Competitive team traveled to Lowell High School to compete in the District Championships on April 26.

The team came home with many District Champions; Callie Brousseau, Faith Dragiewcz, Brooke Smith, Lydia Allen, Elliot Radcliff, and Elise Budd all brought home first-place medals. Their teammates, Alyana Gosselin, Livvy Spangle, Rachel Grider, Aryanna Page, Brooklyn Finch, Clare Lacross, and Maddie Coffman, also brought home medals, including second through seventh places.

Alpena’s next meet will be the National Championships, which will be held in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
