Alpena Public Schools recently added two new staff members to the district administrative team, according to a Tuesday press release from the district.

Ben Henry, a Wildcat alumni and highly successful Alpena High School hockey coach and former interim athletic director has been named the district athletic director replacing Jon Studley who moved into the leadership role at Alternative Choices for Educational Success Academy.

Michele Vilas joined the administrative team as the executive director of human resources. Michele brings extensive experience in HR leadership, project management, and strategic planning. She is relocating to Alpena from the thumb area.
