MARK TOPPI Alpena High School Basketball Coach

ALPENA — Alpena High School has appointed Mark Toppi, former head coach for Oscoda High School girls basketball team, as the new head girls’ basketball coach for the upcoming season, according to a press release by Alpena Public Schools.

Toppi was head coach at Oscoda High School from 2016 to 2023 where he had over 100 wins. Before that, he was the Oscoda Area High School junior varsity girls basketball team head coach from 2010 to 2015. Toppi was also honored as the Associated Press Class C Coach of the Year in 2018.
