Cooley Law School Innocence Project is coming to Alpena

Alpena Community College will be holding a panel discussion at Fitzpatrick Lecture Hall on wrongful convictions, hosted by the Cooley Law School Innocence Project, on April 11.

The panel discussion will feature the exonerees Eric Anderson, Marvin Cotton, Ken Nixon, and Gilbert Poole, who will share their first-hand accounts of how flaws in Michigan’s criminal justice system resulted in them being wrongly convicted and what it took for them to finally be exonerated.

This event is free and open to the public with in-person and online attendance options available. All guests are asked to register before the event online at http://bit.ly/CooleyACC-WrongfulConvictionPanel.
