Alpena residents wanting to witness the canvassing of ballots from early voting during the presidential primary election can do so after the polls close on Tuesday at 8 p.m.

The tallying of the votes will take place in the committee room, which is located on the second floor of City Hall. People are urged to use the elevator if needed.
