Crash sends drivers to hospital

ALPENA — Two vehicles collided on U.S.-23 on Friday, sending both drivers to MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena, according to State Police troopers on the scene.

The driver of the sideways car needed to be extracted by multiple first responders.

No official reports have been released from any fire stations or police departments that were at the scene of the crash.

Sanborn Township Fire Department and Ambulance, City of Alpena Fire Department and Ambulance, Alpena Township Fire Department, Michigan State Police, and Alpena County Sheriff’s Office responded to the collision.
