ALPENA — Ricky Clewley was sentenced to a minimum 78 months of incarceration and a maximum of 10 years after pleading guilty to possession of 100+ images of child pornography in Alpena’s 26th Circuit Court.

“Sorry I did what I did.” Clewey said during his sentencing hearing.

Clewley faced four counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material – in which he pleaded guilty on all four counts , and one count of using a computer to commit a crime which was dismissed.

According to a news release from the Michigan State police, the Alpena man was arrested in early February after being apprehended by the Michigan State Police-Computer Crimes Unit after it received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Clewley’s house was searched and over 100 images of child pornography were found on numerous electronic devices.

In addition to the incarceration, Clewley will also be placed on the Sex Offender Registry.
