Wurtsmith Advisory Board looks to fill vacancies

The Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) for the former Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Oscoda is looking for two community members to fill in openings on their board in April.

The RAB is a group of local community members and representatives from the Air Force and other states and local organizations that meet to discuss Air Force environmental restoration activities associated with former installations.

The RAB encourages the application of any individuals in the community whose life or work is affected by the former installation. Board organizers welcome applications from all members of the community.

RAB members serve without compensation, must attend all meetings, and must be willing average six hours or more quarterly on board duties.

For more information and/or to download and complete an application visit Wurtsmith AFB website. The public has until May 3 to apply for the open positions.
