MidMichigan Health announced Wednesday that the hospital’s new name will be the MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena and the system will be rebranded as MyMichigan Health.

With winter storm watches and warnings issued across the MyMichigan Health service area, the healthcare system is preparing for the potential of reduced hours or closures.

If office hours are impacted by the storm, patients with a pre-scheduled appointment for Thursday and Friday can expect to receive a call to reschedule their appointment or be offered a virtual visit if appropriate.
