My Michigan Health has named Mike Erickson regional president of MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena, replacing Chuck Sherwin.

Sherwin took a position as president of MyMichigan Medical Center Midland last month.

Erickson served MyMichigan Health in 2008 as system vice president of support services from 2008 to 2021, when he became system vice president professional services.

In that role, Erickson was accountable for oversight, vision and leading the strategic direction for professional services across the health system, according to the health system.

Erickson, his wife, and their four children will soon move to Alpena.
