ALPENA — Residents can take a free COVID-19 test at a testing event on Saturday at Thunder Bay Junior High School, health officials announced today.

The drive-up event, to be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., offers rapid antigen and follow-up diagnostic testing and provides opportunity for employees, students, and faculty to know their COVID-19 results to protect worksites and schools, health officials said.

Anyone may receive the test without an appointment.
