Nicole Carr has been promoted to vice president of marketing for the Alpena Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, the CVB said in a news release.

Carr has worked for the CVB since 2015. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University, majoring in marketing and has recently completed her certification in Digital Marketing Science from Grand Valley State University.

“Nicole is an irreplaceable asset to the Visitor’s Bureau,” Mary Beth Stutzman, CVB president and CEO said in a news release.

In her role as vice president, Carr manages the official Alpena region visitor social media channels, oversees the Marketing Co-op Promotional Program, updates Alpena’s official visitor website, VisitAlpena.com, assists with destination meeting and event logistics, and works on special projects and campaigns designed to bring visitors to the area.
