Girl Scout Junior Troop 7500 learned all about different types of animals, their habitats and ecological status by visiting the Boulder Ridge Wildlife Park. They then built on their knowledge by having an overnight behind the scenes tour of the John Ball Zoo where they got to hide snacks for the bears. They also toured the Grand Rapids Public Museum and Meijer Gardens. Most agreed the tropical habitat was the most interesting and that Fennec Foxes are a favorite, though the flamingoes were a close second.
