The News sought designs from readers for T-shirts that would celebrate Northeast Michigan’s resilience over the past year-and-a-half, and Brandt’s design was chosen from among four submissions. The T-shirts were printed by Eagle Printing Service, of Alpena, and are available now for sale at The News offices for $19.99 plus tax. The News will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan’s Urgent Needs Fund.
