Alpena County is seeking candidates to be appointed County Commissioner for District No. 2.

Interested candidates must submit an application and letter of interest to the Alpena County Commissioner’s Office. The term of this appointment is until the end of this year.

To be eligible, the applicant must be a resident and a registered voter in District No. 2 and be available for a public interview before the board of commissioners on June 11 at 9:30 a.m.

The deadline for submitting an application and the letter of interest is May 31 at 4 p.m. at the Alpena County Commissioner’s Office, 720 W. Chisholm Street, Suite 7. Materials may be submitted in person or via email at commissionersoffice@alpenacounty.org.
