A Michigan State Police trooper on the scene where a Jeep left M-32 west of Lachine Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle collision that caused no injuries. The driver of the Jeep — a medical supply representative on his way to Traverse City — clipped a compact sedan as he was trying to merge back into traffic after passing a truck as all three vehicles traveled west. The Jeep careened off the road and into a ditch, taking one post of a two-legged sign with it. The front driver’s side of the Jeep and rear passenger side of the sedan sustained significant damage, but both drivers were checked by medical personnel and released.
