May 4

3:54 p.m.: Hillman Fire Department was requested into Alpena County for a fire in the ditch near Paul Rd., upon arrival the fire was out, all units cleared without incident.

May 5

2:53 p.m.: A DNR plane spotted a small wildland fire on Allard Acres Trail in Albert Township. The DNR Fire Dept, Lewiston Fire & EMS and Vienna Fire Dept were dispatched.

May 6

2:07a.m.: Briley Township resident reported suspicious activity in her yard. MCSO Deputies responded to the area, searched the area and were unable to locate any individuals in the yard.

6:35 p.m.: Deputies responded to a complaint of damage to property on Pleasant Valley Rd in Hillman Township. The house had been shot with a pellet gun within the last day.

May 7

6:44 p.m.: A deputy picked up a small black terrier dog on Damrose Drive that had been running loose. The dog was taken to the ECAS.

May 8

4:21 p.m.: A deputy responded to a verbal dispute in Briley Township; the parties were separated, and the deputy cleared without incident.

8:07 p.m.: MCSO Deputies responded to the Ace Hardware in Hillman for a suspicious person outside the building. Deputies found a male subject unresponsive in his truck. EMS responded, male was taken to hospital and investigation is ongoing.

May 9

12:10 p.m.: A resident of Albert Township called referencing a landlord tenant issue, subject was advised this is a civil issue.

May 10

4:27 p.m.: Deputies and a DNR officer responded to Twin Lakes Filling Station in Lewiston for a vehicle hitting an unoccupied 4-wheeler. The female subject left the scene and was unable to be located. There were no injuries or damage to the 4-wheeler.

11:28 p.m.: A report was made to MCSO about a white pony on Thornton Rd in Briley Township running loose. Pony was captured and is being held at local farm while the MSCO Deputies are seeking owner of the pony.
