No one hurt in US-23 crash

Nobody was hurt when a light blue Ford Escape heading southbound on U.S.-23 was struck by a charcoal Chevy Trailblazer eastbound on Golf Course Road/Henry Road in Alpena Township on Tuesday. Responders from Michigan State Police, Presque Isle County Sheriff’s Office, and the Alpena Township Fire Department scooped up car debris by the shovelful and steered traffic around the scene, where the deployed airbags of the Escape offered a white backdrop to the fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view mirror as the heavily damaged car was towed away.
