Oct. 1
7:14 p.m.: A deputy took into custody a 42-year-old female with a MCSO warrant. She was lodged.
Oct. 2
8:26 a.m.: A deputy responded to a civil dispute in Rust Township.
10:15 a.m.: A resident of Albert Township called to report breaking and entering of the Little League concession stand, items were stolen; this is still under investigation.
5:56 p.m.: An Avery Township resident came to the sheriff’s department to report that a subject that is not supposed to have contact with her is harassing her, this is still under investigation.
Oct. 3
8:17 a.m.: MCSO received a call about a suspicious vehicle on M-32 in Hillman Township. A deputy spoke with the caller about the situation.
3:03 p.m.: A resident of Briley Township contacted the MCSO to report that there were pigs in her yard. A deputy responded to find this to be true, deputy attempted to contact owner without success, ongoing investigation.
7:51 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of an erratic driver on Co Rd 612 in Albert Township. A trooper responded and advised he found a mailbox laying on the road. He contacted the owner of the vehicle described.
Oct. 4
1:17 a.m.: Multiple deputies and troopers responded to a residence on Co Rd 489 in Briley Township for a warrant pick up attempt. A 29-year-old male was taken into custody. A trooper transported him to Alpena Co jail.
5:59 p.m.: A deputy initiated a routine traffic stop on Co Rd 612 near Casey St in Albert Township. A 34-year-old female was taken into custody for driving without a valid license and no insurance. She was lodged.
7:52 p.m.: A deputy initiated a routine traffic stop on Co Rd 491 near Aegren Rd in Albert Township. A 27-year-old male was taken into custody for no security. He was lodged.
8:20 p.m.: A deputy initiated a routine traffic stop on a male on a lawnmower on State St near Progress St in the Village of Hillman. A 47-year-old male was taken into custody for driving impaired and with a suspended license. He was lodged.
Oct. 5
3:58 a.m.: While patrolling, a deputy found an abandoned vehicle in the ditch on Pleasant Valley Rd near Funk Rd in Hillman Township. A tow truck was called to pull the vehicle out.
11:03 a.m.: A trooper met another trooper at the county line to take into custody a 42-year-old female with a MCSO warrant. She was lodged.
2:15 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of an erratic driver on M-32 traveling West near Co Rd 491 in Vienna Township. A trooper attempted to find the vehicle described but was unable to locate.
9:57 p.m.: Deputies responded to a verbal dispute on Big Antler Rd in Albert Township. The parties were separated for the night. Deputies responded to this residence a second time at 11:45 p.m. A 40-year-old female was taken into custody for disorderly. She was lodged.
10:38 p.m.: Deputies responded to Mantz St in Albert Township for a welfare check on a female in a possible domestic situation. The investigation resulted in the parties being separated for the night.
Oct. 6
12:21 a.m.: Dispatch received a call requesting a deputy for a report of a stolen side by side. A deputy responded to investigate. A 28-year-old male was taken into custody and lodged.
6:29 a.m.: Dispatch received a call about an audible smoke alarm at St John’s Church in Montmorency Township. A call was made to the church and they advised it was a false alarm and that everything was okay.
9:12 a.m.: MCSO was advised of a commercial burglar alarm on Co Rd 612 in Albert Township. A deputy responded to find it to be the employees opening the store.
3:58 p.m.: MCSO received a call about an erratic driver on M-32 traveling West near KB Farm Rd. A deputy responded to look for the vehicle described but was unable to locate.
Oct. 7
4:54 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a tree down on M-33 N near Co Rd 624 in Briley Township. MDOT was advised that the tree was blocking the northbound lane.
