2 arrested for drugs after ‘invading’ own home

Two alarmed Alpena County residents called the police to report a home invasion after they observed two people inside their home by way of a home security system on Sept. 13.

Troopers from the Michigan State Police-Alpena Post, upon viewing security footage at the home of Michelle Idalski, 46, and Stephan Tucker, 48, discovered that the subjects in the video were actually Idalski and Tucker.

Police found that the two were under the influence of methamphetamine, and a bag of the drug was found on the premises. Idalski and Tucker were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and lodged in the Alpena County Jail.

“That’s what meth will do to you,” MSP Sgt. Chris Wicklund said. “You can’t make this stuff up.”
