Health board to consider PFAS resolution

The District Health Department No. 4 board is expected to consider a resolution warning of the dangers of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances when it meets at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Cheboygan.

While the board at the other district health office representing Northeast Michigan, the District Health Department No. 2, has passed a PFAS resolution, the No. 4 has yet to do so, instead seeking more information.

The board will meet in the conference room at the Cheboygan office, 825 S. Huron St., Suite 1.

DHD No. 4 represents Alpena, Presque Isle, Montmorency and Cheboygan counties.
