Wayne Lusardi, a maritime archaeologist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, spoke to Thunder Bay Junior High School eighth-graders Thursday about the USS Monitor, a shipwreck at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean that was utilized in the Civil War in the 1860s.
