ROGERS CITY — Calcite Credit Union on Dec. 31 paid a collectie $113,000 to its members through the credit union’s first-ever “Bonus Dividend/Interest Rebate,” the credit union said in a news release.

Each member who qualified was paid a bonus dividend and/or an interest rebate of 5 percent, the release said. It was the first such dividend/rebate in the credit union’s 58-year history.

Calcite Credit Union serves members in Presque Isle, Cheboygan, Alpena, and Emmet counties.
