ALPENA — Maple Ridge Township Supervisor John Male, 72, had his trial call hearing adjourned on Tuesday.

Male is charged with one count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, one count of open intoxicants in a vehicle, one count of disorderly person drunk and causing a public disturbance, and one count of trespassing for an incident that occurred on Aug. 23.

He had an additional charge of trespassing added for an incident that occurred on June 20.

As of Tuesday, a new trial call date has not been set. Male is scheduled for a jury trial at 9:30 a.m. on July 2.
