The Alpena County Road Commission announced that work on the Long Rapids Road bridge rehabilitation project is complete and the bridge is open to traffic, according to an Alpena County Road Commission press release on Friday.

The commission thanked the community for its continued patience with the project and hopes it recognizes the added safety and benefit to the community.
