9:07 a.m. A resident of Albert Township called to request a welfare check on two dogs that had been outside for two hours at a neighbor’s residence. An MSP Trooper responded to the scene, spoke with the owner of the dogs, and the dogs were taken inside.

12:48 p.m. A single vehicle on its side was reported in Albert Township; MSP Trooper and Albert Township Fire Department all responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.

2:59 p.m. A vehicle on fire was reported via 911 in Briley Township. MCSO deputies, and Tri Township Fire responded to the scene. The vehicle was a complete loss.

7:18 p.m. A driver slid into the ditch in Hillman Township. A deputy responded to take a report for the vehicle damage, Elkie’s assisted with the removal of the vehicle.

10:06 p.m. A resident called in a noise complaint in Hillman Township. A deputy responded to the area but was unable to hear any noise. The complainant was advised.

Jan. 29

9:19 a.m. A deer vehicle crash was reported in Rust Township. A report was taken.

10:39 a.m. A property check was requested on a seasonal property in Vienna Township. A deputy responded to find the building to be secure.

5:58 p.m. A deputy responded to a vehicle in the ditch in Rust Township. The vehicle did not have any damage and there were no injuries, the driver was waiting for his AAA tow. After ensuring the vehicle was heated, the deputy cleared.

7:26 p.m. A resident in Briley Township reported a neighbor possibly burning hazardous materials and could smell it from his house. A deputy responded to the neighboring residence but could not find the smell or fire.
