Dec. 29
11:37 a.m. Dispatch received a call for a tree down blocking County Rd 628. The road commission was contacted to remove the tree.
11:56 a.m. Tri Twp Fire Dept was requested for a low hanging line over Main St in Atlanta. The cable line was cut and removed from the roadway.
3:39 p.m. Hillman Fire/EMS and deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch on M-32 in front of the Thunder Bay Golf Resort. No one was injured. A 32 year old male was arrested for operating while intoxicated. The subject was lodged in the Alpena County Jail.
Dec. 30
7:06 a.m. Deputies responded to a commercial burglar alarm at the Thunder Bay Clinic in Atlanta. The building was found to be secure and no vehicles around.
10:50 a.m. Dispatch received a call for an erratic driver on M-32 driving west out of Atlanta. The vehicle was located and officers initiated a traffic stop. The 33 year old female had several warrants. The female was taken into custody and lodged in the Alpena County Jail.
2:53 p.m. Dispatch received a complaint of a female entering a home and stealing some cash. A deputy responded and the complaint is still under investigation.
Dec. 31
8:01 p.m. A deputy came across a male subject with multiple warrants from different counties. After confirming the warrants were valid, the male was placed in custody and transported to Vienna Township where MCSO met with an Otsego deputy to transfer custody.
8:02 p.m. A resident in Albert Township reported a vehicle that had been parked on the side of the road for over 24 hours. Contact was made with the owner and the vehicle was towed.
Jan. 1
4:18 a.m. A concerned friend reported that her two roommates had not returned home. Neither subject was able to be reached over the phone. A deputy followed the route to the residence to ensure there was not an unreported accident. The subjects were found to be okay, they left their phones on accident.
9:09 a.m. A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Rust Township; a report was taken.
7:52 a.m. A resident in the Village of Hillman reported her dog stolen. A deputy responded and found the subject who took the dog, it was found wandering in a business parking lot and she was attempting to find the owner.
2:29 p.m. A deputy and Hillman EMS responded to a vehicle in the ditch on Co Rd 451. No one was injured. The male driver was evaluated and found to have low blood sugar.
Jan. 2
12:25 a.m. A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Albert Township; a report was taken.
8:23 p.m. Lewiston Fire Dept and DNR Officer responded to a snowmobile on fire on Frisbee Drive. No one was injured. All units cleared at 8:38 p.m..
Jan. 3
8:39 p.m. A deputy was requested for a welfare check of a child in Lewiston. The deputy spoke with the child and everything was found to be okay.
Jan. 4
7:44 a.m. A deputy responded to a vehicle vs deer accident. A report was taken.
12:13 p.m. Hillman EMS and a MSP Trooper responded to a single vehicle rollover on Jacks Landing Rd. No one was injured and all units cleared at 12:43 p.m.
8:26 p.m. Dispatch was notified of a vehicle in the ditch on Co Rd 612 in Loud Twp. No one was injured. M & D Towing responded to get the vehicle out of the ditch. All units cleared at 9:26 p.m.
