On Wednesday, 1st Avenue between Mirre Street and Richardson Street and Maple Street between 1st Avenue and Second Avenue, will be closed to through traffic. Barricades will be present during these times. Motorists are asked to seek an alternate route during the closure.

A city contractor will be replacing a fire hydrant and during this time water will be shut down while work is being completed.

Construction is expected to last one day, unless weather or construction delays occur.
