Nominations are now being accepted for the 2025 Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award and the Business of the Year Award. These awards, along with many others, will be given out at the Alpena Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet on February 12, 2026.

The Zonta Club of Alpena is also accepting nominations for the Woman of the Year Award. This award has been a tradition for the Zonta Club of Alpena since 1966. The purpose of this award is to honor a woman for her volunteerism in our community, and to highlight the significant impact women make in our lives. This award will be presented at the Annual Chamber Banquet as well.

Click the link below for nomination form or they are available at the Chamber of Commerce – 235 W. Chisholm Street in Alpena. We are also accepting nominations for the Culture Change Agent Award and the Up and Coming Award. The deadline for all nominations is Monday at 5 p.m.
