PRESQUE ISLE — On Nov. 26, troopers from the Michigan State Police (MSP) Alpena Post responded to a residence on Raven Drive in Ocqueoc Township after a deceased male was discovered on the shore of Lake Huron.

The man was wearing a black North Face jacket and blue jeans at the time he was discovered. The preliminary investigation indicates the man may have been deceased for a period ranging from three months to three years.

The medical examiner’s investigation is ongoing, and foul play is not suspected.

MSP is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the deceased. Anyone with information is asked to call the MSP Alpena Post at (989) 354-4101.
