On Saturday, community members participating in a Peace rally are seen holding up flags in front front of the Alpena County Courthouse. According to the rally organizers, the rally was held to show the world that Alpena is a peaceful community.
ALPENA — Two rallies were held in Alpena on Saturday — a “No Kings” rally and a Peace rally. There was a police presence at each rally, and no incidents were reported.
