ALPENA — On March 14, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., the Alpena County Library is hosting Do It Yourself Pop Art Style Self Portraits for area youth ages 12 years old through 17 years old. They are invited to paint and design their own bold, colorful self-portrait inspired by pop art that can include bright colors, graphic shapes, and larger-than-life style. The library encourages the kids to attend and express themselves, get creative, and turn their personalities into a masterpiece.
