Alpena — The Alpena Area Chamber of Commerce and Target Alpena Economic Development Corporation will host a community open house on Jan. 30, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the chamber office on Chisholm Street in Alpena.

The event will introduce the organization’s new leadership team, including Paige Fisher, president and CEO of the chamber, and Lenny Avery, executive director of Target Alpena.

The informal drop‐in event is open to the public, chamber members, and community partners. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Fisher and Avery, learn about their vision for the year ahead, and hear updates on initiatives focused on business support, economic development, and regional growth.

“We’re stepping into an exciting new chapter for both the Chamber and Target Alpena,” said Fisher in a press release. “This open house is a chance to connect directly with our business community, listen, share priorities, and continue strengthening the partnerships that make Alpena thrive.”

“Economic development only works when partnerships are clear and intentional. Our goal is to build systems that work for local businesses, nonprofits, and communities–not in silos, but together. This Open House gives us the chance to explain that approach and invite people into the conversation.” Avery added.
