ALPENA — Team members from the Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union (AAACU) have been visiting the Alpena Childcare and Development Center (ACDC) for the last several weeks to provide financial literacy education and resources to children and parents alike.

The ACDC is an early education and childcare facility serving children from birth to Fifth Grade. As a part of this effort, the credit union also provided a donation of $600 to the Alpena Childcare and Development Center.

The AAACU said in a press release that it is honored to have the opportunity to provide children of all ages with the tools to build lifelong financial success and security.
