Fifty years ago, on Aug. 12, 1972, Jerome Langlois and Rosemary Peplinski were married at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Rogers City.

They traveled to the Upper Peninsula for their honeymoon, enjoying many historical sights and scenic spots. This trip was repeated with their two young children, years later, revisiting the exact route taken.

Their children are Steve and Maria Meyer and Nick and Aubry Langlois. They are also blessed with four grandchildren — Alex, Emma, and Olivia Meyer, and Eli Langlois.
