Owen and Judy Whitkopf of Charlotte, Michigan, formerly of Alpena, will celebrate 60 years of marriage on Aug. 6.

Owen, from Imlay City, and Judy, of Pontiac, met while attending Olivet College.

The couple married and lived in Olivet several years and were blessed with two daughters. A job change brought them to Alpena for six wonderful years before moving to Charlotte where they currently reside.

The couple stays active golfing, gardening, traveling and spending time with friends and family. Their special day will be spent with family reminiscing and celebrating.
