Arlene and Al Amelotte

Arlene and Al Amelotte of Alpena recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.

Al and the former Arlene Goodrich were married on Aug. 5, 1950. They are both retired from the Flint Board of Education.

Their children are Ken (Nancy) Amelotte of Lachine, and Carey Onore of Flint. Their grandchildren are Michele Amelotte of Lachine, Jessica Konarzewski of Alpena, and Vicki (Jimmy) Branton of Flint. They were also blessed with a fourth grandchild for a short period of time, Jennifer Onore, before she walked into heaven at the age of 2. Their great-grandchildren are Logan Konarzewski of Alpena and Bodie Shanafelt of Lachine.
