Bill and Mabel Townsend

Bill and Mabel Townsend celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 18.

Bill Townsend and Mabel Liske were united in marriage on June 18, 1955, in Hubbard Lake, at Salem Lutheran Church.

The Townsends have two children: Thomas Townsend (Marie) of Alpena and Nancy Broderick (Joe) of Huron, Ohio. They are blessed with four grandchildren: Brian Townsend (Lori), Jamus Lapczynski (Laura), Danielle Broderick and Chris Broderick. They also have four great-grandchildren: Morgan Caldwell, Max Townsend, Drew Lapczynski and Reagan Lapczynski.
