Barbara and Bruce Bailey

The photo above shows Barbara and Bruce Bailey celebrating their first Christmas together in 1955, about six months before they were married. This year, the Baileys, of Alpena, are celebrating their 64th anniversary. Over the years, they’ve lived in Ohio, Florida, Georgia, and Michigan. They have three children. Bruce retired from General Motors in 2001. These days, they look after their dog, Marley, and are looking forward to their daughter, Susan, moving to Northeast Michigan from Texas with their son-in-law, Dave.
