Michael Smigelski and Anna Szatkowski were married Oct. 2, 1954, in Posen.

The couple gathered at the home of their daughter Deborah (Ken) Worm on Oct. 12 to celebrate their anniversary.

In attendance were all their five children: Deborah (Ken) Worm of Waters, Michael Jr. (Ginger) of Charlotte, Mich., Nancy (Don) Denomme of Alpena, Gary of Potterville, and Dale of Walled Lake.

Their 10 grandchildren are Alissa Worm, Michael Worm, Matthew Worm, Michelle Smigelski, Michael Smigelski, Rochelle (Ryan) Vendittelli, Ryan (Jessica)Denomme, Hannah Denomme, Samantha Smigelski and Brittany (Michael) Earley.

They are also blessed with seven great grandchildren: Kyra and Madelyn Goff, Bradley Smigelski, Lydia and Clark Vendittelli, Macklin Denomme and Aveah Smigelski.
