Ron and Kaye Ross recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise celebration planned by their children and grandchildren in the mountains of North Carolina.

The couple was surprised with a family vacation and vow renewal ceremony which included family members sharing treasured memories, as well as a sand and wine ceremony.

They were able to spend a blessed time with their children and their families, which included 18 people. They visited waterfalls, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and various othe places in North Carolina.

Ron and the former Kaye Arthur were married August 3, 1968, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Alpena.

The couple has three children, Amy (Rodney) Jacobs, Ron (Kristie) Ross, and Heidi (Dan) Kucharek. They also have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

It has been a wonderful 50 years of marriage and family.
