Art and Donna Kendziorski of Alpena recently celebrated their 50th anniversary at the wedding of their daughter, Amanda Kendziorski to Cory Arnold. Art and the former Donna Rigg were married on July 8, 1967 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Alpena. Amanda and Cory were married 50 years later on July 8, 2017. Art and Donna were recognized during their daughter and son-in-law’s wedding and celebrated with them, their family and friends at their reception held in Rochester.

Also sharing in the celebration were several members of the original wedding party, including best man Bob Kendziorski of Alpena, maid of honor Donna (Bourque) Trego of West Milton, Ohio, and Jacki (Rigg) LaFleche of Alpena.

The couple have six children: Steve (Melissa) Kendziorski, Charlie (Kelly) Kendziorski and Jeff (Jessica) Kendziorski, all of Alpena; Beth (Joe) Pelton of Canton, Ga.; Leigh (Amy) Kendziorski of Guyton, Ga.; and Amanda (Cory) Arnold of Rochester. Their grandchildren are Jessie Kendziorski of Sault Ste. Marie; Madison, Alice and Clara Pelton of Canton, Ga.; Bailey, Emerson and Grayson Kendziorski of Guyton, Ga.; and Hailey Niedwiecki of Alpena.

Art is retired from Besser Company.
